"We have been a partner with FCS for several years now and could not be more satisfied with the quality of services they have provided these past years and that they continue to provide. We had struggled with janitorial companies for years. Service would drop for several months in a row then get better for a couple of months and drop off again. "Florida Cleaning Systems, Inc. (FCSI) was awarded their first contract with the County on October 2005, The Window Cleaning and Exterior Washing term contract. Then they were awarded the Janitorial contract on January 2009 for the Courthouse Complex. The Window Cleaning and Exterior Building Washing contract consist of cleaning as small as a 3-story building to our 25-story Courthouse building. They do the exterior pressure washing and interior window cleaning of all the office areas. They also have the experience to do a low-pressure cleaning of our Regional History Center which has a lime stone exterior. FCSI employees have cleared our vast background checks and are permitted in the most restricted areas. Their employees are considerate to our occupant’s needs and special requests.

The janitorial contract for the Courthouse Complex has approximately 1 million square feet of cleanable surface in a campus and is considered as class A office buildings. The main tower has 25 stories and the other two buildings are 5 stories each. This complex houses numerous government agencies. The vast customer base can cause some differences in opinions but FCSI employees have handled all issues with professionalism and courtesy. FCSI provides day porter services, complete restroom cleaning, stripping and waxing of the terrazzo and VCT flooring, carpet extractions, high detailing, and daily cleaning of office and cubical areas as well as other daily frequency tasks. The County does hold the janitorial companies to the highest standards and FCSI has stepped up to the plate and brought our facilities to our expectations.
The County has a Quality Assurance Program and with this mostly all inspections and reports are above average. If there have been deficiencies they were handled within 24 hours. Accordingly, I have no hesitation in recommending them as a company with which to do business. I have known the president and management team of FCSI, Rene Barrios, President and Pat Lamb, Business Development Executive, for five years. Knowing them I am quite comfortable in vouching for them as great individuals as well as their company. FCSI employees hold a high standard in all areas of expertise. FCSI is one of the best companies that Facilities Management has ever dealt with."
